Jerusalem, 26 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — About 83,000 Israelis underwent plastic surgery in 2024, while nearly 645,000 aesthetic injections were performed, according to Israel’s Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Despite these high numbers, the sector saw an 8% drop in overall demand for surgeries and injections compared to previous years, which the association attributed to the war. The data was released ahead of Israel’s largest plastic surgery conference in Tel Aviv later this month.
Popular procedures in Israel include liposuction, rhinoplasty, facelifts, and breast surgeries. Israel ranks among the world leaders in plastic surgery per capita, alongside countries like Brazil and the U.S.
