Jerusalem, 8 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Akeyless has announced the rollout of advanced quantum-resilient encryption across its unified secrets and machine identity platform, becoming the first provider in the field to offer post-quantum protection. With quantum computing rapidly advancing, the Israeli startup’s hybrid encryption approach — combining X25519 and NIST-selected ML-KEM768 algorithms — aims to safeguard sensitive enterprise data from future threats.
The enhancement is built into the Akeyless Gateway, requiring no changes to existing setups.
“The quantum threat isn’t theoretical, it’s actively evolving,” said Refael Angel, Akeyless’ co-founder and CTO.
