Resumption of Light Rail Activity in Jerusalem in an Emergency Format
Under the direction of Minister Regev, the Ministry of Transport, the National Public Transport Authority, and the Jerusalem Master Plan team, Kfir Company was instructed to operate the light rail in Jerusalem starting tomorrow (Tuesday, March 3, 2026) in an emergency format in accordance with the Home Front Command‘s guidelines. This is in order to maintain functional continuity and provide a transportation solution for essential workers.
As part of this, the light rail in Jerusalem will operate between the hours of 05:15 in the morning and 22:00 at night.

It should be emphasized that the operation of the train is carried out in accordance with the situation and the Home Front Command’s guidelines. Should there be any changes, an updated announcement will be issued separately.
